Concrete Supply & Quality Policy
1. Transfer of Responsibility
The Company’s responsibility for the concrete mix ends at the point of discharge (the end of the truck chute). Once the concrete leaves the Company's equipment, the Customer or their designated agent assumes full responsibility for the material, its placement, and its final appearance.
2. Site Conditions & Subgrade
The Company is not liable for structural failures, sinking, or cracking caused by:
- Improperly compacted subgrade or base material.
- Inadequate formwork or reinforcement.
- Extreme weather conditions (excessive heat, wind, rain, or freezing temperatures) occurring during or after pour.
3. Jobsite Alterations (The "Water-Added" Rule)
Our mixes are designed to meet specific strength requirements (PSI).
- Unauthorized Water: If the Customer or Contractor requests the addition of water on-site beyond the designed slump, the Product Warranty is voided. * Strength Impact: The Customer acknowledges that adding water increases the risk of scaling, dusting, and significantly reduced compressive strength.
4. Finishing and Curing
The Company does not provide finishing services and, therefore, cannot be held liable for:
- Surface Defects: This includes blistering, delamination, "dusting," or "crazing" caused by improper finishing techniques or "working" bleed water back into the surface.
- Curing: Proper curing is the sole responsibility of the Customer. Failure to apply curing compounds or maintain moisture may lead to surface failure, for which the Company bears no responsibility.
5. Natural Characteristics (Cracking)
Concrete is a natural material that is guaranteed to crack. While joints and proper reinforcement help control where it cracks, the Company provides no warranty, expressed or implied, against cracking or "spider-webbing."
6. Color Variation
Due to the use of natural aggregates and variations in cement batches, the Company does not guarantee an exact color match. Differences in finishing techniques and curing methods will also affect the final color of the dried slab.
